Description
There are regular Tuesday night pottery classes, 7.00 – 9.30pm, which are fun with a glass of bubbles or a beer and nibbles.
You need to book 2 classes minimum, The first class is to create your items and then book a second class to glaze your items or book in for several weeks of making and then later a glazing session. If you want to make for several weeks then come for the last class and glaze that’s also an option. Pieces take several weeks to dry depending on the size and thickness of your item and then they are fired in the kiln before they are ready to glaze (Make a 3-4 week break between classes of making and glazing). I’m flexible when you turn up if you’d like to be making or glazing or both if you have work to finish off and then are ready to start some new projects.
In your first session you will create 2-3 pieces. These sessions are fun and only $60 each night. The price has increased for 2020 as the firing is now included in the price unless someone makes more than 800g of work in one session and then there will be additional firing costs charged.
You can choose to work on your own project or I can give you ideas if needed. This cost includes the glass of alcohol, nibbles, clay, glazes, firing and tuition.
